Haleakala Crater

Officially, its not a crater. I think they called it an "erosional depression". Basically, there are several cinder cones (craters) within it (and elsewhere on the island), but the overall shape is governed more by erosion than anything else. You can see where lava flows have gone over the edge and down. And yes, the "depression" is very big.
