May 16, 2013 - I was walking down a bike path and heard cracking and crashing sounds up to the right. Looking around, I saw a pileated woodpecker that had just dropped a large piece of bark. So, I started taking pictures and movies. After the second movie, it moved up and behind a bit - I took a movie, but it wasn't worth showing. Shortly after that, the woodpecker made a very nice call and flew off. Of course, I missed that. Maybe I need Google Glasses! The videos were zoomed and cropped, so are fairly shaky.
