Michel is doing "Britain" for this year's GETS show, and wanted more stuff to put down, and so suggested using some Harry Potter sets as an easy way to do that. I volunteered to do some, but quickly realized I didn't like the play-able form of them - I wanted more complete buildings. So, I spent a lot of time expanding on the LEGO sets to produce more-complete structures. I also added a bookstore, inspired by the one in the movie.

"Quality Quiddich Supplies" - this was the first store built, and I didn't put windows on the ends or back, so it was quite dark inside. A friend saw it and said I should put lights inside. Time to rebuild the roof. I can't find the small battery boxes (I know I had some!), so leave it for a while. He lends me one, and I rebuild the roof to use that. Of course, the old 9V LEGO lights are so dim that you can only see them in the dark!

"Knockturn Alley" - OK, this shouldn't be right on "Diagon Alley".

I was going to use this style for the brick arch at the end of the alley, but decided it wouldn't work out properly.
