I spotted this critter on Monday, June 27, 2011, digging a hole under the corner of the viewpoint across the street from Waterford House. It was somewhat more reddish along its underside. Presumeably its a woodchuck/groundhog. It's behavior, of digging a tunnel under an existing structure, matches their behavior.
