Old Strathcona Fire Hall

This old firehall has been here for quite a while, and has an observation tower on top. Unfortunately, it is now jammed up beside the old bus barn (now used for a farmer's market), so there isn't much left to see.

I approached from the east, where the tower is visible over top of the bus barn.

Going around to the south, one can see the three doors.

Here is a closeup of the right-hand door.

The east wall is now very plain - likely recently rebuilt.

I can just see the tower looking from my balcony at home.
